SnackNation (now Caroo) is a B2B company that specializes in delivering workplace snacks that are as healthy as they are delicious, with over 5,000 snacks from over 1,500 premium brands. In addition, SnackNation’s prices are up to 40% less than retail, making it a boon for stocking healthy alternatives in break rooms and conference rooms across the country.
As SnackNation grew its client base, their 200 employees began to spend longer than was necessary in Salesforce. Specifically, they were seeing a steady increase in puzzling error messages, causing lags whenever they were trying to transfer or work within their Salesforce records.
SnackNation’s IT Product Manager was already familiar with Cloud Pathfinder Consulting (CPC’s) leadership because of their strong presence in Salesforce’s ecosystem. After seeing their recent speech at Dreamforce about Vetforce (Salesforce Military), Salesforce Best Practices and Lightning, he reached out to CPC.

In the early stages of every CPC partnership, a custom scope of work is created, including a budget and hour estimation for every line item. This approach ensures transparency at every step in the process, and CPC began with this process.

This was brought on by their Salesforce platform having multiple accidental administrators and other outside consulting agencies that made things incredibly inefficient. And when employees transitioned out, records were displaced and were unable to be accessed because of the process builders and workflows that hindered them. This caused errors to populate all the more.
CPC set out to streamline and consolidate SnackNation’s automations within their process builders and workflows. Because various workflows and process builders were scattered throughout the Salesforce platform, they were all firing individually in an unordered, unstructured series.
